[dt_sc_accordion_group] [dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”Is the message for fruit gang only for kids?”]No. The Fruit Gang characters are a representation of the timeless truths of Biblical Scripture according to Galatians 5:22-23 (the fruit of the Spirit) which impart a universal message for all people.[/dt_sc_toggle_framed]
[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”How did you overcome the barriers and hindrances as you walked the “narrow path of your life?” “]By “Unstoppable Determination” to do God’s will and to accomplish the vision He gave to me. I knew that I was not “wrestling against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12) so I prayed that God would strengthen my discernment and determination to fight the good fight of faith.[/dt_sc_toggle_framed]
[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”How did you learn to trust God totally when, as you said, “He told you to go to Mississippi, where you didn’t know anyone and didn’t know what you were supposed to do?””]This was a long process but I started by reading God’s word and responding in total obedience. Many people tried to discourage me from going to Mississippi by saying, “God isn’t sending you there – that’s not God!” or “You don’t need to be going to Mississippi when the family needs you here.” or “You must be a part of a cult, something is wrong with you because you are just being impulsive.”
No, I didn’t know what I was going to do but this I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, GOD KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING! I knew He had a plan for my life and I had to consistently examine my attitude (because I started out complaining to God – sound familiar?) I had to trust God for everything – even for my next meal because sometimes I did not have food to eat. As I trusted God, He began to trust me with small things to do, like cleaning up the church. No, I didn’t want to do this but God said it, so I obeyed. My obedience in the small things led to obedience in much more that God gave to me. I could discern His hand on my life.[/dt_sc_toggle_framed]
[dt_sc_accordion_group] [dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”What is the ultimate purpose of Fruit Gang?”]Fruit Gang exists as an outreach to uniquely and powerfully present the word of God in such a way that people will want to listen and learn about the nine fruit of the Spirit…and to allow these characteristics to drive their actions and behaviors.[/dt_sc_toggle_framed]
[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”If your book, “Preeeeesenting Fruit Gang” is about characters that have a positive impact on the lives of children, why do you focus so much on parents?” “]That’s a good question! I strongly believe that parents/caretakers/young adults have a responsibility for “training children in the way they should go…” To introduce positive values to children, to supervise their school work, television programs they watch, toys they play with, to monitor the words they speak, to help them make right choices according to the word of God and especially to pray godly prayers over them, etc.
For parents and others who don’t embrace Christian Values, the introductory information in this book can help to guide them in interactive life teaching as God draws them unto Himself.
Parents/Caretakers/Young Adults are encouraged to take seriously this responsibility and to remain accountable in their roles to teach children about God’s love. It is important to remember that children are indeed a gift from God![/dt_sc_toggle_framed][/dt_sc_accordion_group]
